1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Ditch ("the Service"), operated at getditch.net, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Ditch is a subscription management tool that scans your email inbox (with your explicit permission) to identify recurring charges, track renewal dates, and provide cancellation guides. The Service is provided on an "as is" basis.

3. Account Registration

You may create an account using Google sign-in, Microsoft sign-in, or email and password.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

4. Email Access & Permissions

Ditch requests read-only access to your email inbox to scan for subscription-related messages.
You grant this access voluntarily and can revoke it at any time.
We only extract billing metadata (sender, subject, amounts, dates). Full email content is not stored.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
Create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits.
Resell or redistribute the Service without permission.

6. Cancellation Guides

Ditch provides cancellation playbooks and guides as informational resources. We make reasonable efforts to keep them accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that any specific cancellation process will work as described. Subscription providers may change their processes at any time.

7. Pricing & Payments

Ditch offers a free tier with basic functionality.
Paid plans may be introduced with advance notice.
If you subscribe to a paid plan, billing terms will be presented at the time of purchase.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding of the Service are owned by Ditch and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ditch and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Service.

Ditch is not responsible for any charges, fees, or penalties resulting from subscriptions you manage (or fail to manage) using the Service.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
Upon termination, all your data will be permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
